Six Motivating Rituals to Keep Your Mind Right

Ensuring we take care of our mental health is vital for us to live enjoyable, healthy lives. Over the years as a coach and one who adores experimenting with all sorts of healing modalities, I have a number of motivating rituals to keep our minds right whether we are stressed or just being conscious to enjoy our day to day life. I chose these particular rituals to highlight because I know when we do these things, we can shift our energy, our moods, and move from negative self-talk to more uplifting feelings of possibility. Here are my six motivation rituals to test out each month.

Check this out…

So for a breakdown..

1 Move Your Body - We all know how important it is, but sometimes we slack and I have really struggled with this. It feels so great when you commit to yourself, so choose a form of exercise that you love and have fun with it.

2. Manifesting Pride and Positive Vibes: When you are writing your 20 positive traits here are examples of your  “I am” statements. Ex. I am strong and confident. I am an excellent XYZ… Keep going and write down 20 things, even things you want to manifest, but write it in the present moment, as if it’s already happened.  I had one mentor recently say to our Mastermind group, “Don't you want to be a $20 Million dollar CEO?” I had never thought about that, but was like…hell yeah! 😃 So the mantra can be as simple as “I am a $20 Million dollar CEO.” It's okay if it feels like dreamland. Simply write it as your future self.

3. Gratitude List: It’s proven…you can not be in a bad mood when you are practicing gratitude.Write down 5 things you are grateful for and why.  Do this every day!

Ex. I am grateful for ____ because of _____.

4. Goal Setter:

Set a one-week goal. Baby steps.

Set a 30-day Goal.  Think bigger baby!

Share these goals with those that can hold you accountable.  You will feel great when  you can see small steps towards your personal & professional goals.

5. Mindful moment: Can you spare at least 5 minutes a day for meditation or breathing? I love the free meditation app Insight Timer.

6. Make fun a priority.  What is fun for you? Make a list. Do one thing.

- Consider an Artist Date…which is doing something creative solo. For example: Go to a movie, exhibition, anything you love alone. It’s an inspiring date with yourself.

-Call your friends or see your friends. (This does not mean only text, I am saying actually CALL.) I know it’s so old school.

I’d love to hear how things go if you test out these rituals. I know for me once I made up my mind to get back into consistent exercise I felt so much better. I do everything I share with you, I do either daily or intermittently and I’ve seen my coaching clients transform their lives when the committed to these self-care rituals. With all the trauma and stress that us humans deal with, we need to take care of ourselves as best we can. Do share if any of these rituals work for you.

I help women who are unfulfilled, burned out, lonely and overwhelmed rediscover their power, squash limited beliefs and indulge in radical self care so they can achieve their personal & professional goals. It’s time to 10X the visions you have for your life. If you would like to learn more, book a Clarity Call with me.
